Purpose
At Ashray Living, we strive to provide organized and hygienic laundry services for the convenience of all residents. To ensure smooth operations and quality service, all residents are requested to follow the laundry guidelines.
1. Laundry Service Overview
- —Laundry services are provided through authorized third-party laundry partners engaged by Ashray Living.
- —The facility includes washing and ironing of eligible garments twice a week as per the scheduled laundry process.
2. Eligible Laundry Items
The following items are accepted for regular laundry service:
- —Daily wear clothing
- —Shirts, t-shirts, lowers, jeans, trousers
- —Towels and standard linen items
The following items are not included in regular laundry service:
- —Undergarments
- —Socks and hosiery items
- —Woollens and delicate garments
- —Leather items
- —Heavy jackets and blankets
- —Highly expensive or luxury branded clothing
Residents may wash personal undergarments and hosiery separately using designated washing facilities where available.
3. Laundry Collection Process
- —Laundry bags must be placed only at the designated collection area.
- —Residents must clearly mention: Name, Room Number, Number of clothing items
- —Laundry requests may be collected through designated Google Forms or other notified systems.
- —Failure to fill required details may result in non-collection or delayed service.
4. Laundry Bag Guidelines
- —Each laundry bag can contain a maximum of 10 clothing items.
- —Maximum of 3 laundry bags may be submitted at one time.
- —Residents are advised to separate their clothing properly to avoid mix-ups with roommates.
- —Five complimentary laundry bags may be provided during the specified period. Additional bags may be chargeable.
5. Responsibility & Risk
Residents are requested to carefully check garments before submitting them for laundry.
Ashray Living and its laundry partners shall not be responsible for:
- —Color fading
- —Shrinkage
- —Damage to delicate fabrics
- —Loss of expensive garments
- —Damage to leather, embroidered, woollen, or luxury items
Residents submit such items entirely at their own risk.
6. Reporting Discrepancies
Any issue related to laundry service, including: missing garments, damaged clothing, incorrect delivery — must be reported within 3 hours of receiving the laundry.
Complaints raised after this period may not be entertained.
7. Hygiene & Compliance
Residents are requested:
- —Not to hand over clothes directly to laundry staff personally.
- —Not to overload laundry bags.
- —To maintain proper hygiene while submitting clothes.
Violation of laundry procedures may attract penalties as per management rules.
8. Dry Cleaning & Special Garments
Certain garments may require professional dry cleaning, including:
- —Branded wear
- —Designer clothing
- —Blazers and formal wear
- —Delicate fabrics
Additional charges may apply for such services.
9. Management Rights
Ashray Living reserves the right to:
- —Modify laundry schedules and procedures
- —Reject unsuitable items
- —Revise operational guidelines when necessary
- —Take action in cases of misuse of laundry facilities
10. Resident Cooperation
Residents are requested to cooperate with the laundry and housekeeping teams to maintain efficient operations and hygiene standards across the property.
