Housekeeping Policy

1. Housekeeping Timings

• —Professional Housekeeping services are carried out daily between 10:00 AM and 06:00 PM. After these hours only general housekeeping will be provided.
• —Residents are requested to cooperate with the housekeeping staff during these hours to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of rooms and common areas.

2. Room Cleaning Procedure

• —Routine cleaning of rooms is generally conducted in the absence of residents.
• —Housekeeping staff may access rooms using authorized duplicate keys strictly for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
• —Residents who prefer room cleaning only in their presence must inform the Property Supervisor in advance.
• —Such requests will be accommodated within the designated housekeeping hours only.

3. Resident Responsibilities

Residents are expected to:

• —Keep their rooms reasonably clean and organized.
• —Avoid littering in rooms, corridors, washrooms, pantry areas, or other common spaces.
• —Dispose of waste only in designated dustbins.
• —Store food properly to avoid insects, pests, or foul odor.
• —Keep valuables securely locked at all times.

Ashray Living shall not be responsible for any loss of personal belongings left unsecured during housekeeping activities.

4. Common Area Maintenance

The housekeeping team regularly maintains:

• —Corridors and staircases
• —Washrooms
• —Dining and pantry areas
• —Recreational spaces
• —Reception and common lounges

Residents must help maintain cleanliness in these shared spaces and avoid misuse of common facilities.

5. Pest Control & Preventive Maintenance

• —Periodic pest control, fumigation, and preventive maintenance activities are conducted to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• —Residents are required to cooperate during such activities and provide access to rooms whenever necessary.

6. Deep Cleaning Charges

• —During periodic or surprise inspections, if a room is found excessively dirty, unhygienic, or requiring professional deep cleaning services, the cost of such cleaning may be charged to the residents of that room.
• —Residents are therefore advised to maintain daily cleanliness and hygiene standards.

7. Damage & Reporting

Residents must immediately report:

• —Water leakages
• —Broken fittings
• —Electrical issues
• —Damaged furniture or fixtures
• —Sanitation concerns

Any intentional damage, misuse, or negligence resulting in additional cleaning or repair costs shall be chargeable to the concerned resident(s).

8. Laundry & Linen Coordination

• —Housekeeping services may coordinate with laundry operations for linen collection and maintenance as per the scheduled process.
• —Residents must follow all laundry guidelines issued by management regarding laundry bags, labeling, timings, and collection procedures.

9. Hygiene & Safety Standards

For health and safety reasons, the following are strictly prohibited:

• —Accumulation of waste or leftover food inside rooms
• —Obstruction of housekeeping activities
• —Storage of hazardous or foul-smelling materials
• —Unsanitary conditions affecting roommates or neighboring residents

Management reserves the right to take corrective action in cases of repeated hygiene violations.

10. Management Rights

Ashray Living reserves the right to:

• —Update housekeeping procedures and schedules when required
• —Conduct inspections for cleanliness and hygiene
• —Temporarily access rooms for maintenance, repairs, or emergency situations
• —Take disciplinary action in case of non-compliance with housekeeping rules
